Patricia Arnaiz-Castro is a tenured professor of EFL for future Primary teachers and of EFL Methodology for future Secondary teachers at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Part of her research has been focused on the output of Spanish learners of EFL. She is also interested in examining the role affective variables can have in the FL learning process and has published papers in different relevant journals: Revista Canaria de Estudios Ingleses (2011), Revista de Psicodidáctica (2012), The International Journal of the Humanities (2012) and Studia Anglica Posnaniensia (2014), among others. She has also written several handbooks for University students and has participated in different European projects. She has been coordinator for the English subject of the University Entrance Examinations since 2013.
